Challenge

The Dutch Public Broadcasting Service also known as NPO was established in 1923. Despite a rich and successful history as a broadcaster NPO feels that it loses its grip on the Dutch viewers.

Opportunity

By asking us to create scenarios which help invision the future of television and entertainment NPO hopes to gain new insights a concept that can contribute to securing its position for the next decade.

Result

Based on the scenarios we have created we have developed a world called Recommendation driven world which led us to the concept EMMA. This abbreviation stands for Electronic Multimedia Assistant and is a digital assistant that helps the user in their search for the different media options of the NPO.
